Iron Tide Command: Don't Rush Your First Fleet

August 28, 2026 · Marta Lindqvist

Our first run at Iron Tide Command ended in disaster because we built warships before we could feed them. Supply comes first in this game, always.

Set up reliable trade routes between two or three islands before expanding. A steady stream of resources lets you replace losses, while an over-extended empire crumbles the moment a rival applies pressure.

Scout constantly. Knowing where enemy fleets are lets you avoid fights you can't win and pick the ones you can. Information is worth more than an extra ship early on.

Once your economy hums, then you build for war. Rushing it just hands your rivals an easy target.
